Espadrilles Making Workshop - Boutique Group
Espadrilles Making Workshop is the perfect opportunity to create your own unique pair of shoes. Using authentic materials from Spain, you'll learn the traditional techniques used to make these iconic shoes.
Under the instruction of Heidi Louise. A professional Adelaide shoemaker with 30 years’ experience & a tutor at W.E.A since 2013. I will guide you through the entire process, from measuring your feet, pattern making, selecting your fabrics to stitching your soles. By the end of the workshop, you'll have a beautiful pair of espadrilles to take home and wear with pride. Join me for a fun and educational experience that you won't forget.
The jute soles are standard size, but they will re-shape with wear and can accommodate a wide fit also, upto 2cm wider than an average width fitting. We will be making the upper patterns to the measurements of your feet.
Sole size options: EU 35 - 46
Colour Choices: Red, Navy, Olive Green & French Stripes.
Date: These smaller group sessions have been added to cater for the people that would like to do a workshop but are never able to make the set date. I will be in touch with you to set up a date & time that suits.
