Join me for an exciting small group workshop where you’ll design, decorate, and construct your very own pair of unique leather sandals! With access to a wide range of decorating and stamping tools, dyeing techniques, and endless design options, you’ll have everything you need to express your individual style—whether bold or classic.
Under the expert guidance of Heidi Louise, a professional shoemaker with 30 years of experience and a W.E.A tutor since 2013, you’ll receive personalized instruction to bring your vision to life.

Maximum 3 people.
$200 includes tuition & materials for 1 pair of sandals.
If you would like to make a second pair of sandals, please choose extra sandal kit style ($60) if you would like your second kit to be another size option, please add note at checkout.
2nd kit options are limited to the simpler design choices.
*If not choosing to do a second pair of sandals you will need to choose 0 (zero) on the Extra Sandal Kit Style.

Date: These smaller group sessions have been added to cater for the people that would like to do a workshop but are never able to make the set date. I will be in touch with you to set up a date & time that suits.
Time Require: I would estimate being a small group around 4 hour
Where: My Workspace at South Plympton, Adelaide, South Australia.(As my workspace is at my home I don't post the full address for public view)

While I have asked for you to choose a design on the listing in order to place your booking,
Each of the upper pieces and straps are interchangable and i will bring extra, So you will have the opportunity to change the design of your sandal, For example:- if you would like to have the ankle strap of design 1 with the toe loop of design 9 (ooh that sound cute!), or put a strap on the back of design 6, If you have the vision we can make it.

So good to be able to make your own personalised sandals - it was a great hands on class; getting to dye, design and decorate to your heart's desire. They are comfy and look great. I would definitely recommend doing one of Heidi's workshops.

The class was excellent. I learned a lot about a new craft to me. The teacher was always informative and obliging to help if you got stuck on something. A fun class that i would definitely do again!

Heidi was funny, very knowledgeable, down to earth and very helpful. I had ideas for other leather projects and she took the time to listen and give me some feedback and suggestions. We didn't have the time in the end to work on it but that's because there is so much to do! Didn't expect leatherwork to be so much work!
Saying that none of it was out of reach so just some patience and discipline + lots of creativity if you dare to try.

Very educational, Heidi is a great teacher. I haven't finish it yet the stitching is what got me. Heidi let me take one of her needles home.
